edmonton riverboat
Edmonton Riverboat — formerly known as the Edmonton Queen — features a classic paddlewheel riverboat design inspired by historic sternwheelers of the North Saskatchewan River. Under the ownership of Jay Esterer from 2016 to 2024, the vessel underwent significant renovations that blended nostalgic riverboat character with updated hospitality spaces. The design combines vintage maritime detailing, panoramic viewing decks, modernized wood interiors, large format wall graphics including vintage historical maps of Edmonton, the North Saskatchewan River Valley, and original schematic drawings from the boats construction. Grand solid wood tables adorn the open upper decks that emphasize Edmonton’s river valley views. Its iconic white exterior, twin paddlewheels, and illuminated profile have made it a recognizable landmark and floating entertainment venue in Edmonton.
