dalla tavola zenari
Dalla Tavola Zenari is a beautiful new concept developed by Elisa Zenari, Ran Huget, and Giancarlo Zenari. The family business was originally founded in 1984, first as a high-end housewares store and eventually a Wine Bar and Deli. Zenari's became an important foundation in Edmonton's Downtown landscape known for revolutionizing the way people eat and enjoy food while at the same time building a community of amazing employees and dedicated patrons. Eventually the torch was passed on to the children of Adriano and Glenda Zenari, and was further developed into an exciting new space in the Kelley Ramsey Building.
Working with closely with the Zenari family, the project was truly a pleasure to complete. It was decided early on to bring the expertise of Retrofit to complete the outfit of the space. The process was a very organic experience following the amazing design sensibilities and well developed ideas living inside the brilliant mind of Elisa. The biggest challenge was outfitting a space with massive windows and beautiful high ceilings, yet still create a comfortable environment to satisfy everything from a quick grab and go cappuccino, to an official business lunch, and finally an intimate date. All contained within the same space. Balancing the existing customers needs while at the same time developing a late day and evening business.
